Foxwood Falcons™

Released in 2002, Foxwood Falcons was "Stranger Things meets the Sandlot" over a decade before Stranger Things existed. Written by Darren Sanchez as a novel (unpublished) he then adapted the concept into a comic mini-series (with art by Mathew Tow). The story of Robbie Wise and his friends was optioned by Tapestry Films, though the movie was never made. A short, live-action teaser trailer does exist. FF is currently available for development.
